The temple is located on a sprawling 100 acres of land and has been constructed by Vellore-based Sri Narayani Peetam, headed by spiritual leader Sri Sakthi Amma. The temple, covering 55,000 sq ft, has intricate carvings and sculptures in gold. The lighting is arranged in such a way that the temple glitters even during night.
About 400 goldsmiths and coppersmiths, including craftsmen from Tirumala - Tirupati Devasthanam, have completed the architectural marvel in gold in six years.

The approximate cost of the temple is Rs 600 crore. About 1.5 tonnes of Gold has been used in the construction of the Temple. IMAGE BEHIND CIGARETTE SMOKERS

Cigarette smoking gives you pleasure? NO, not at all. The idea behind smoking is that, it will relax ourself and keep away from tension. But, it is not the fact, it is only affects the health condition. At the beginning, everyone starts smoking got relaxation and for enjoyment, but as the days proceed all the smokers will become addict to cigarette smoking.

British medical institute conducted an online survey over 10,000 peoples about cigarette smoking. More than 70% people said, " For us only tension gets reduced, but we dont feel any enjoyment" . The other percentage of peoples says, " They cant leave the habit of smoking ". Although the smokers feel of getting rid of tension and feeling happy, this is not true. They are still worsening their health condition and wasting their money for no use.

Only after CANCER came into the picture, all the smokers where afraid of smoking. As per doctors opinion, smoking can be gradually reduced only by self control of the individuals and awareness among the people.

TALLEST SKY WALK IN SIKKAM

Do you have any dreams of walking in between the spreaded clouds? If so,your dream is going to be true. For this you need not go to foreign countries, perhaps its going to be built in the capital of SIKKAM, GANGTOK(INDIA).

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a tourist attraction along the colorado river on the edge of the Grand Canyon , in America. Its about 4000 feet high above the ground, which was opened on March, 2007.People who are walking in this place, will feel like the clouds touches the face, which will be a different experience.

Now in India, tallest skywalk is going to be built by the Sikkam Government which will override Grand Canyon. From the capital of Sikkam,Gangtok at 56 kms distance, we have a peak mount named Balathunga. In this place only the Skywalk bridge is going to be built. From the deep sea level,at an height of 10,102 feet the skywalk is going to be built. Its covers 40kms distance. The walls and floor are built from glass 10.2 cm (4 inches) thick. The glass on both edges of the floor is tinted and can be used as a "safe zone" by scared visitors.

State Tourist Minister, Ram Bhagadur says,"For building the Skywalk bridge, South African architects have been suggested by the government".

WORLD'S COOLEST PLACE

Antarctica is a special place, no matter how you look at it. It's the highest, driest, coldest, and windiest continent, for starters. One way that it's very special is its position, squatting right
on the south end of the Earth. To begin with, the seventh continent is in the middle of its own lithospheric plate, completely isolated from other continents.

Ever since that time, the ocean has surrounded it on all sides, turning around it in a great westward current. Antarctica has gotten colder and colder, cooling the rest of the planet
along with it. Over the years, it has accumulated a gigantic layer of ice to a height of 3,000 meters. That huge central mound stands up nearly halfway through the atmosphere, so like
a bald-headed man with no hat, it loses heat directly to outer space. The cold air that results flows right off the ice cap by gravity, picking up speed as it goes, until the resulting katabatic winds roar off the continent's edge onto the sea.

Antarctica is not really responsible for the ice ages we've been living through for the past
few million years, though. For that, you might blame Panama, which rose out of the water
about 3 million years ago and cut off the Atlantic from the Pacific Ocean. Now we have a complicated setup, involving Greenland with its ice cap and currents in the north Atlantic
Ocean, that seems to switch back and forth between a cold-climate state and a warmer
state, where we are today.

Hottest Place In The World

There are many places on earth that are plenty hot - record-breaking hot. In fact, there's a good chance on the day this record-breaking temperature was recorded by a meteorological station in El Azizia in 1922 there were other places hundreds of miles away that were even hotter. In all likelihood, this record temperature has been exceeded since then in many places on earth, but we have no official records of the temperatures. It is important to note that when atmospheric temperatures are recorded it is not the surface temperature, where it can sometimes reach 150° F/ 66° C, but rather the air temperature at about 5 feet (1.6 m) above the surface in an enclosed shelter. Of course, it's important that the temperature sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight - the shelter is louvered to permit air flow across the sensor. Most humans don't 'hang out' where some of the hottest tempertatures on earth are regularly experienced so there aren't a lot of meterological stations in these places to reliably record extreme temperatures.

Desert Lands

As big as the earth is, over two thirds of its surface is covered in water from the oceans. The remaining one-third of the earth's surface is exposed as dry land for us to live on, but a third of that dry land is really dry. In fact, it's inhospitable desert. Much of the deserts in the world are clustered between 5 to 30 degrees north and south of the equator, in what are called subtropical zones . Scientists have theorized that these desert belts are due to two things:

1) Heat

2) Lack of moisture

Duh? Anybody who's ever been outside on a hot summer day, all day, knows that. Just about every continent on earth that is inhabited by humans experiences seasonal weather changes, with a distinct winter and summer. Just because there's hot, dry weather during the summer, doesn't mean that where you live is going to turn into a desert. What makes the desert so hot and dry is the climactic conditions that are sustained almost continually, year round. Any part of the world that's hot and dry for long enough periods throughout the year won't be able to support much plant or animal life. Living things need water to survive.

Wettest Place In The World

Mount Waialeale:

Mount Waialeale , elevation 5,148 ft (1,569 m), is the second highest point on the island of KauaŹ»i in the Hawaiian Islands. Averaging more than 460 inches (11,680 mm) of rain over the last 32 years, with a record 683 inches (17,340 mm) in 1982, its summit is considered one of the rainiest spots on earth. It has been promoted in tourist literature for many years as the wettest spot, although the 38-year average at Mawsynram, India is 11,873 mm (467.4 inches). However, Mawsynram's rainfall is concentrated in the monsoon season, while the rain at Waialeale is more evenly distributed through the year.

Several factors give the summit of Waialeale more potential to create precipitation than the rest of the island chain:

  • Its northern position relative to the main Hawaiian Islands provides more exposure to frontal systems that bring rain during the winter.
  • It has a relatively round and regular conical shape, exposing all sides of its peak to winds and the moisture that they carry.
  • Its peak lies just below the so-called trade wind inversion layer of 6,000 feet (1,800 m), above which trade-wind-produced clouds cannot rise.
  • And most importantly, the steep cliffs cause the moisture-laden air to rise rapidly - over 3,000 ft in less than half a mile - and drop a large portion of its rain in one spot, as opposed to spreading the rain out over a larger area if the slope were more gradual.

Hawaiian Island:

Islands, once known as the Sandwich Islands, form an archipelago of nineteen islands and atolls, numerous smaller islets, and undersea seamounts trending northwest by southeast in the North Pacific Ocean between latitudes 19° N and 29° N. The archipelago takes its name from the largest island in the group and extends some 1,500 miles (2,400 km) from the Island of Hawaii in the south to northernmost Kure Atoll. Excluding Midway, which is an unincorporated territory of the United States, the Hawaiian Islands form the U.S. State of Hawaii.

This archipelago represents the exposed peaks of a great undersea mountain range known as the Hawaiian-Emperor seamount chain, formed by volcanic activity over a hotspot in the earth's mantle. At about 1,860 miles (3,000 km) from the nearest continent, the Hawaiian Island archipelago is the most isolated grouping of islands on Earth.

Largest Fresh Water Lake

Lake Superior, on the United States/Canada border is the freshwater lake with the greatest surface area at 31,700 square miles (82,103 square kilometers). The largest lake in the United States is Lake Superior, one of the Great Lakes, located on the United States / Canada border. It is largest in both surface area 31,700 square miles (82,103 square kilometers) and in volume of water 2904 cubic miles (12,100 cubic kilometers).

Lake Superior is the largest of the five Great Lakes of North America. It is bounded to the north by Ontario, Canada and Minnesota, USA, and to the south by the U.S. states of Wisconsin and Michigan. It is the largest freshwater lake in the world by surface area and is the world's third-largest freshwater lake by volume. It is about twice the size of The Netherlands.Lake Superior has a surface area of 31,820 square miles (82,413 km²)—which is larger than South Carolina. It has a maximum length of 350 miles (563 km) and maximum breadth of 160 miles (257 km). Its average depth is 483 feet (147 m) with a maximum depth of 1,333 feet (406 m).Lake Superior contains 2,900 cu mi (12,100 km³) of water. There is enough water in Lake Superior to cover the entire land mass of North and South America with a foot (30 cm) of water. The shoreline of the lake stretches 2,726 miles (4,387 km) (including islands). The lake's elevation is 600 feet (183 m)above sea level. American limnologist J. Val Klump was the first person to reach the lowest depth of Lake Superior on July 30, 1985 as part of a scientific expedition, which, at 733 feet below sea level, is the lowest spot on the North American continent.Annual storms on Lake Superior regularly record wave heights of over 20 feet (6 m).Waves well over 30 feet (9 m) have been recorded.

GEOGRAPHY:

The largest island in Lake Superior is Isle Royale in the state of Michigan; this island itself carries a number of lakes, some of which contain islands. Other large famous islands include Madeline Island in the state of Wisconsin and Michipicoten in the province of Ontario.

CLIMATE:

Lake Superior's size creates a localized oceanic or maritime climate (more typically seen in locations like Nova Scotia). water surface's slow reaction to temperature changes, seasonally ranging between 32°-55°F (0°-13°C) around 1970,helps to moderate surrounding air temperatures in the summer and winter, and creates lake effect snow in colder months. The hills and mountains that border the lake form a bowl, which holds moisture and fog, particularly in the fall. The lake's surface temperature has risen by 4.5°F (2.5°C) since 1979, which is attributed to global warming.

Dhoni's gloves are not "illegal!"

Meerut's Sunrising Sporting Goods, a sister concern of Sareen Sports Industires (SS), has come forward to claim that the gloves worn by Team India ODI Captain MS Dhoni against Australia in the Commonwealth Bank Tri-Nation Series, are not "illegal", as claimed by the ICC.

Speaking over the telephone from the factory, Director Virendra Sareen claimed, "The same gloves are also being used by Australian Wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist, under the Puma brand name. Then why are those gloves also not illegal?"

"We make gloves as per ICC's standard specifications and ICC is wrong in calling them illegal. Australian Ian Healy has no business to blame us as manufacturers".

"Due to the constant use of the gloves the webbing, the portion between the thumb and the first finger, may have become loose or widened," said Sareen.

"Dhoni should have argued on this but, possibly to avoid fine [by the ICC] and controversy, he may have agreed to change the pairs immediately.”

"We have supplied him more than 10 pairs.”

Earlier, Indian team manager Dr. Bimal Soni confirmed from Hobart that Dhoni has been using SS brand gloves, and not those made by the company Brooks in Melbourne, as it was initially reported.

Sareen also ruled out the possibility of Dhoni's gloves being 'secretly' modified or tampered with, "It is not possible. The second time stitching, if done, can easily be visible".

The Indian company has been manufacturing cricket equipments and is proud of providing bats to VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag, who scored their highest runs 281 and 309 runs respectively with their bats.

STOIK Noise Autofix

Hi friends! Welcome to "Friends For Ever" blog

The Stoik Noise Autofix(SNA) is a software which is useful for mobile users who have brought the mobile before the year 2005. This is because,in SNA software,we can make the photos which have very dull and less resolution photos into a clear and crystal photos which looks like photos taken in a didital camers with higher pixels rate. I have used it,i have benefited more, because i used 6600 nokia mobile which a less than 1.5 pixel size. But after using the SNA software,i really see myself and my friends good and beatuiful. So,you "friends" must use this software and give me the comments which will encourage me to post more softwares.

STOIK Noise Autofix implements the first photo noise reduction algorithm that allows fully automatic operation. The program automatically reduces image noise in photos obtained from digital cameras, camera phones, and scanners.
The software includes modules of noise detection, noise analysis and noise filtration which are statistically trained to provide optimal balance between photo noise reduction and preservation of image details. The noise in digital photos is reduced by 2 - 3 stops, so that the noise level of the photo shot at ISO 1600 is effectively reduced to ISO 200 - 400 levels.
